  • About myself

In November 1994 I enrolled at a private college, Darul-Uloom London (an Islamic institute). I studied Islamic theology in a traditional method for six years under the supervision of learned scholars. I graduated on 17th November 2000 with a scholarship in Islamic theology or also known as an Aalim qualification, which is extensively recognized in the Muslim world. [To see my certificate email me]

I have also studied Arabic language at Damascus University, Syria (2001). While I was at the university, I had an opportunity to visit many Middle Eastern countries. My main aim was to visit many of the historic places that are located there. I have travelled to the following places;

  • Syria:
    Damascus (know as the longest inhabitant city in the world), Hallab (Aleppo), Hims, Hama, Ladzaqia, Tartus, Tadmur (Palmyra, where Prophet Sulaman عليه السلام once lived), Busra As-Sham (where the foot pints of the she camel that Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم was riding lay), Malula, Qunatura and many other small towns.
  • Lebanon:
    Beirut, Balbak (where Prophet Ibrahim عليه السلام once lived.

  • Turkey (South):
    Antakiyya (Antioch)

In England, I'm actively involved with the Muslim community in my local area. I teach Arabic language, Fiq (Islamic jurisprudence), Ahadith (traditions of the Prophet) and Islamic history. I have also been Muslim Adviser to Slough Borough Council for over 3 years from 2002 to 2006.

While in England, in 2003 I have travelled by road to see the Muslim influence in Andalusia:

  • Spain:
    In September 2003, 5 of us embarked on a journey of Islamic discoveries, which took us through 10 historic cities with a round trip of over 5,000 km in 10 days includes: Madrid, Granada, Malaga, Merbella, Algeciras, Tarifa, Seville, Cordoba, Toledo.
  • Gibraltar:
    Jabal-E-Tariq
  • France:
    Paris, Poitiers here the Battle of Tours took place (معركة بلاط الشهداء) ma‘arakat Balâ? ash-Shuhadâ’, Bordeaux

In 2004 i went to;

  • Turkey:
  • Istanbul, leading a group of eight.
  • Pakistan:
    Lahore, Islamabad, Taxila and Multan the city conquered my Muhammad bin Qasim.

My aims are to understand the world and its people, to enable them to comprehend and grasp the purest way of life, the Islamic way of life. I intend to travel the Muslim world extensively to allow myself to appreciate our history whereby we can truly understand our identity and past.
